For projects
Pricing and billing
What Proofline costs, who pays it, and what the fee can never do.
| Plan | Fee |
|---|---|
| Launch | 7.5% of paid bounty rewards |
| Founding and audit partners | 0–5% for a fixed promotional period |
| Enterprise | Annual plan with a lower payout fee |
Our standard rate after launch will be 10%.
How it's billed
The fee is billed to the project, on top of the reward. Researchers always receive 100% of the locked calculation.
| Example | Amount |
|---|---|
| Critical reward (locked table) | $50,000 |
| Researcher receives | $50,000 |
| Platform fee (7.5%) | $3,750 |
| Project pays in total | $53,750 |
The rate that applied is recorded on each payout, and promotional rates show their end date.
What the fee never does
- It's never deducted from a researcher's reward.
- It never depends on a triage, severity or mediation outcome. Proofline doesn't earn more when a report is rejected or rated lower.
- Mediators and judges are paid a flat rate and never share in it.
- It never requires buying, holding or staking a token.
Competitions
Audit competitions are priced per contest. The prize pool always goes to researchers in full.
